The End of Spring Class of Aikido

Yugo says, "Aikido is not a martial art, but an art to share own spirit with people."

Green Dragon closed the season.

Yugo volunteered to play in the opposing team, "Red Dragon" for the first half.
Now back into "Green Dragon!"

A Better You... A Better Me!

Storm King Mountain - Memorial Day Weekend 2011

To take advantage of the clement weather over Memorial Day weekend, we took a trip up the Hudson to Storm King Mountain, north of West Point. Hiking the mountain gave some stunning views of the river below, while Yugo served as trailblazer.

 Yugo found spots to meditate on the rocks.

Field Day 2011

Yugo's class K-211 made a fine showing of itself at the annual PS187 Field Day events. Not only were they good relay racers and balloon poppers, but they showed off some of their killer dance moves as well.

Yugo's First Try - Ski!

Yugo hit the slopes in Tuxedo Ridge, NY for his first skiing adventure. After a few lessons, he was ready to go. As long as he could make his pizza with the skis, he could go down any slope, from green to black.
